…my Kindle Kup’s full and running over…learnin’ to read all over again..#TBSU…

…ye can’t get enough of a good thing, so they say…well, just ask old Midas about that…everything he touched turned to gold…but ye can’t eat gold (much)…modern literary treasure troves for bibliophiles like meself are becoming the new Midas-style embarrassment of riches…my To Be Read (TBR) backlogs on the neatest library in the world, the Kindle device, are almost at unmanageable proportions …emb’dy else suff’rin’ the same thing out there?…I’m an avid believer in the ‘paying it forward’ philosophy…I try to download a minimum of one book a week on Amazon to support new (and sometimes established scribblers, too)…y’see there’s at least two excellent ways to help other writers…one is to buy their  work (or from time to time, take their free promo offers)…equally important is TO POST AN HONEST REVIEW...herein lies the snag…before ye can review, ye’ve got to read the thing…Rabbie Burns, our celebrated Scottish Poet, said, ‘the best laid schemes o’ Mice and Men gang aft agley’…intent is wonderful, execution of intent often a lot trickier…trying to balance the quill-scraping, blogging, SOSYAL NETWURKIN, sleep (yeah, a little of that), and reading would put strain on even the best time-management jugglers…so, what to do?…same as ever, I suppose..soldier on and grab whatever reading time’s available…to my chums out in BlogLand who KNOW I’ve purchased their masterpieces, please bear patiently with me…I’ll get reviews done and post them on the Amazon and Goodreads pages soon…by the way, for emb’dy kind enuff to do reviews, please remember if ye post a review on Amazon.co.uk it DOESN’T APPEAR AUTOMATICALLY ON Amazon.com in the USA, and vice versa, ye have to cut and paste the review on to the distaff page…same for Goodreads…I’d start reading now, but Matron’s here with that bluudy syringe again…see yeez later…
